Since iPad don’t have an Office Suite included, there have been a lot of 3rd party solution for this problem. One of them is this FREE app CloudOn.
The app integrates with Dropbox that is used to store all of your documents, and you can access your Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents. The interface is almost exactly the same as using the desktop version of Office. This is great for editing your document's while on the go.
