Over the years the Ecomusée of Alsace has become the largest in Europe. The themes of the museum are life and work in the villages and factories of the 19th and 20th centuries: agriculture, livestock breeding, wine production, mining and crafts. Highlights of the museum’s collections include the beautiful carrousels from village funfairs.
