Apple to set the production of A6X Processor to TSMC

There has been a widespread news that Apple is talking to  Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) to manufacture their next supply of A6X processor for their mobile devices. This means that Samsung who currently manufacture the A6 and A6X processor will be no more.

 

This will end the ties between Samsung and Apple, who are also a competitor in mobile devices products. And does this also mean that we can expect a new version of the iPad and iPhone with a new processor from TSMC early this year.
